I can’t see this going through - somebody will put the brakes on it. If it does happen....WONDERFUL idea.

If the Jumbotron is owned by a private entity, then yes, they could simply NOT ACCEPT the ad. If it is owned by the City, it will be a First Amendment/ Equal Protection issue if they refuse to show it.
I think it’s silly either way. This is an issue that you’re not going to convince anyone on. They’re either for it or against it.
It’s just like the 2A.
No wiggle room.
I like the idea except the filling the square with pro-lifers.
Isnt that preaching to the choir.
Wouldnt be better to do it unannounced during regular rush hour with regular everyday New Yorkers in the square.
The shock on their faces would be something to see.
If this plan actually comes to be, you can be sure that you have witnessed a miracle!
Some years ago I attended a Bible study with a good woman who believed the “blob of cells” lie. During that time, my daughter had a late term miscarriage at 20 weeks gestation.
On of the things the hospital did for us was take pictures of the baby after she had been bathed and dressed in tiny garments made by hospital volunteers.
Those pictures went with me to the next Bible study, where my friend immediately broke down in tears and changed her mind on abortion.
History has shown that educating women with the truth, pictures of a real growing human being in the womb, are very effective at changing minds.
Maybe. But it depends a lot on the way that person was raised and on their belief system. What state was this in? I’m willing to be the demographics were slightly different than NY. There are always exceptions as you show.
Ping!
“This is an issue that youre not going to convince anyone on.”
I disagree. The ultrasound has changed a lot of minds and hearts. That’s why abortionists don’t want women to see them before they abort. I think the only problem with this idea of babies on the Jumbotron is that it is combined with a pro-life rally. That means that anybody who hasn’t already seen an ultrasound won’t be there. I would rather have these images pop up randomlly on the Jumbotron during peak commuter hours.
Excellent idea.
It will just make these ghouls hungry.
I have known several women who were pro-abortion and changed their minds once they got pregnant and felt their baby kick. But I also know one woman lawyer who argued an abortion case (advocating for an abortion for a minor) when she was 9 months pregnant herself. Depends on the hardness of the heart...
Ohio. Previously we had been members of a Presbyterian church when the same daughter had an earlier miscarriage. Nobody there cared, and couldn’t understand why I was devastated. It would have been my first grandchild. We left that church.
There was a mere 15 miles difference between churches.
This is an AWESOME idea!!
God bless them!!!!...The time has come!!!!
What is 4-D? Is it Smokin'
Samantha Smurf's bra size?
Yikes. I mean, regardless about how one feels about abortion a wanted baby and a miscarriage is still a bonafide reason to be sad. Geez...
I suffered through 2 and were it not for the brilliance of the doctor team we had, likely would never have been able to have kids.
