Field tests are somewhat unreliable and are not admissible in most states for evidentiary purposes. Lab results are required to prove the chemical composition of an item. Until lab results are obtained the proper documentation on an inventory is green leafy substance or white powder.
For criminal evidence in court Id prefer a lab

There wasnt real use for SWAT teams on any regular basis, so, the departments started using them for serving arrest warrants. Doesnt matter what for. If you have a outstanding warrant for delinquent parking tickets you are likely to have a SWAT team come to your door to arrest you.
I read it last year the majority of arrest warrants in most major cities are served by the SWAT unit.
