Orban may be different at least in this regard. I am not aware of Hungary’s abortion laws.

This issue is not whether abortion is legal or illegal. The real underlying issue is women not wanting to have kids.

In Russia, abortion is legal up to the 12th week. According to UN 2010 data, Russia had the highest number of abortions per woman of child bearing age in the world.

In 2009 China reported 13 million abortions out of a population of 1.3 billion compared to Russia’s 1.2 million out of a population of 143 million.

Russia’s abortion laws are more restrictive than the US. The US is one of 7 countries that allows abortion past 5 months and one of four that allows it right up to birth.
