It’s over. Nothing happens until every major media outlet is screaming for the conspirators jailed. That isn’t going to happen because every major media outlet want’s Trump jailed.
If nothing else, Trump is a hyper competitive egoist. Why would he go through all this time & effort, just to have it erased? Now, compare that certain outcome to the alternative: conspirators are convicted, swamp is drained, wall is built. The entire situation is reversed, and Trump is revered as a hero for the ages.
Question 1: do you agree with the situational assessment above - both negative and positive potential outcomes? I'll assume yes, otherwise you're just be argumentative, and that doesn't seem to be your style. OK, so let's assume Trump is clearly aware of the issue, and intends to rectify the situation.
Now, so let's discuss what must happen for Trump & patriots to prevail. Care to forward any ideas? First and foremost, we/he must assume that the media is simply the information wing of the enemy. Therefore, they can either be bypassed or attacked; bypass is what a smart general would do. Now, that means Trump's main force is directed at the enemy's weakest position. In this case, it would be Trump controlling a few critical security assets vs the enemy being exposed without protection and/or assistance.
This is essentially the crux of the issue - where to attack, with which assets, and at what time. Does the potential for possible kinetic action affect certain decisions? If yes, then refer back to history in the hands of the enemy. This means I assume Trump must be willing to engage to the level of Lincoln in order to achieve the desired outcome(s).
Of course, I could be all wrong, and Trump is perfectly willing to be CIC for 8 years, and then come what may. But that doesn't make sense, at least to me. The contra position is to go for all the marbles. In reality, it's almost a dunk shot, so why shy away?
