What is a humanist, if not the opposite of Godly?
Someone who wishes you the best as you practice your religion, but doesn’t care to have your theological construct imposed on their laws or science.
In other words the sort of person who regards having any sort of circumstance wherein the a church can impede a Galileo.
One who thinks that any attempt to use the power of the State to tell one what they must believe or to enforce the dictates of any religion is bad and should be fought.
Be as ‘Godly’ as you wish, don’t tell anyone they must be.
