Activision Blizzard has announced that its laying off 8 percent of its employees roughly 770 people as part of the company de-prioritizing initiatives that are not meeting expectations.
The news came on the heels of announcement of Activision Blizzards Q4 and 2018 earnings, where CEO Bobby Kotick gave the companys record results in 2018. Kotick went on to comment that, While our financial results for 2018 were the best in our history, we didnt realize our full potential.

I stopped playing about 6 months back. I gave up guild play a long time ago because of the time sink. I started new characters, took them as far as I could before I got bored, then wash, rinse and repeat.
They may say it’s still in beta due to all the development companies putting out an incomplete game on its release day, requiring a now industry-standard “day one patch.”
It may also be for legal reasons, so if someone tries to file a legal complaint, DE can just say it’s a beta.
WoW seemed to be more of a community thing.

BTW, I am running on a **laptop** released in 2012 (intel, sadly :p).. no AMD within my price range after I lost everything a couple of years ago :p
It runs very smoothly, considering.
**I have this laptop on top of a document storage ‘box’.. used my hand file.. solder gun.. and heat blower to make holes for the laptop to sit on top of; for the storage space and airflow to giver the laptop some airflow.. and to add all of the necessities to come as close to a desktop as I can (since I have no $$ resources atm (at the moment)
.. OH.. also added a duel-port recharger, and USB 3.07 port hub; all 7 (+3) are being used o.O ..:p)..
I have built my own PCs since the time when they were called “IBM Clone”, and Windows was an itch of Bill Gates.. about the time he stole the OS idea of DOS :p
