Blacks suffered a lot in the 50’s

I was. There was a part of town named for the race with stores and businesses owned by other blacks. They created and nourished their own community. There were no ghetto rats and families were intact. And this was in the South, separate but equal.

I’d say they were on a much better trajectory before LBJ’s evil plan took hold.
