I see this woman as sticking around for quite awhile. The democRAT Party and the democRAT voters like this kind of firebrand who is willing to spout off about their radical Marxist views without having to take the heat themselves.
This Green New Deal is just a Trojan horse to get their foot in the door on legislating climate change. Most of the stuff in it won't make it pass the talking stage, but little-by-little, the democRATS will keep pushing it's concepts until, eventually over time, they'll get most of it into law.
It's how the democRATS always work. They are using AO-C to get the camel's nose under the edge of the tent. They know they can't get this entire socialist wet-dream passed all at once, so they are satisfied to do it incrementally.
