I think generally not. Underlings tend to fall on their swords or take the brunt of it; or as we’ve seen they end up with these ‘process crimes’ or crimes unrelated to the investigation itself. But in a way I guess that supports my contention since the bulk of the criminality in 2016 was done by underlings - people in Obama’s DOJ/FBI as well as the HRC Campaigns. I don’t think Obama or HRC would face prison.

Though as I’ve mentioned before, Susan Rice wrote that Jan 20, 2017 email to memorialize a Jan 5 meeting inside the Obama Oval Office - so we know the Trump spying ring went into the Oval Office... it doesn’t prove Obama did anything but it was a bizarre email, written after the fact, and Rice claims Obama told them all to do it “by the book” which is a weird thing to say to people in positions of trust. It seems to me that was written to protect and exonerate Obama more than it was reflection of the actual conversation. Did Obama seriously think he had to tell the head of the FBI and top DOJ officials to “do it by the book”? Did that mean he knew they sometimes dealt off-book? Or was he just that much of a patronizing jerk that he spoke to the FBI director like some Lieutenant talking to detectives on a TV show?

I would like to see whoever broke the law go to jail. Whether it’s the janitor or the former President of the United States. But I’m not betting my farm on it.
