Over the past century the American black community had made enormous strides in becoming incorporated in the American overall fabric of society.. Very little has come from their own efforts. Their inclusion into every aspect of the nation’s culture has been a result of white man’s taking a black hand and bringing them along. Today they have equal opportunities and substantial numbers in employment, education, entertainment, government, military, professional sports, and many other areas of national life. This occurred because the white America willed it, and it happened.
The only place in community life it has not happened is on Sunday mornings in church. As hard as the white churches have tried to incorporate the black population, they still prefer their own way of worship. And I have no problem with that.
Now, if I were to make the above statement in a public setting I would have an hundred protestors at my front door. Isn’t it a shame.
I have come to the conclusion there is no hope for the Black Community. Over 50 years of The Great Society and Trillions of Dollars spent, along with school integration, and all manor of Social Programs along with Affirmative Action and where are we?
I would say that at least 20% of the Black Population have done themselves well and have been successful and prospered. The rest are pretty much where they were and are not going any further no matter what happens.
I am now convinced it is in the DNA. When I look at Africa and how it is then I see it as hopeless. They can't rule themselves, feed themselves or anything else without a helping hand from the West. If we have global cooling, and I think that is a likely outcome, then farming will change drastically and we may only be able to take care of ourselves here and have no extra food to export, then what will happen?
When you look at crime here a big part is black on black and most of those in prison are black. Why? My feeling is again it's just in their DNA and probably because of a lower IQ than others. A valid assumption given several studies, notably “The Bell Curve”.
Let's say we have reparations, are we talking about a arbitrary amount of money? If so how much? Lets say for the sake of argument we have reparations and we give every so called descendant $160,000, with the proviso this is it, there will be no more and we get to rescind all social programs. It's over.
Well it would be like a lottery winning, it would be spent by most and in a short time it's gone and then where are we, well right back to where we were. There would be a clamor for more money, why, well we spent it and it's gone and we are entitled.
Nothing and I mean nothing will ever be solved and there will never be enough money.
