I made a search of YouTube videos on Smollett and there are a bunch of them, a large portion of them from black Americans that say Jussie is lying!.........................I was shocked!....................
Nah, they’ll just keep it open, and everyone will forget about it, until the next shiny object comes up.
People in Smollett’s building are saying no way it happened since the area is up to the rafters with blacks and gays.
Yeah, they will be excoriated no matter what the outcome.

I'm inclined to agree, sometime this week is critical mass. The cops have been sending him messages all along letting him know that things just don't add up - "Fess up now while you still can..." - but he won't. They're gonna have to nail him, possibly for Federal mail fraud, which sends him on a most unpleasant journey, first stop in Oklahoma City.
This goes nowhere. I don’t believe the reports of Smollett’s phone records being subpoenaed are true, as it has only been reported/repeated by bloggers/tweeters. The crime will be “unsolved” and CPD will not make public accusations against Jussie. Meanwhile, everyone knows what happened here.
If CPD did actually get his phone records and they prove he was lying, then CPD will have to report that, as it WILL get leaked to the media at some point. We can only hope.
