President Trump on Sunday sought to pin blame on Democrats for what lawmakers described as faltering negotiations on border security funding.
"I don’t think the Dems on the Border Committee are being allowed by their leaders to make a deal," Trump tweeted. "They are offering very little money for the desperately needed Border Wall & now, out of the blue, want a cap on convicted violent felons to be held in detention!"
In a follow-up tweet, Trump suggested that Democrats "want a Shutdown" to change the subject from a week of difficult headlines. He referenced his State of the Union address, which received largely positive marks in polls, and the ongoing scandals that have engulfed the top three elected Democrats in Virginia.

IMO, the bottom line is the Rats don’t want a win for Prez Trump.

They are bogging him down at every turn, this is their tactic. He needs to break away from this

I think the RATS are trying to pack th blue states with people to increase their elector count from the 2020 census. Recent court action to allow the citizen question may cause their plan to backfire, as more and more illegals drive out citizens to Redder pastures.
Declassify all the info on FISA.
Shutdown the government, do not provide backpay, declare a national emergency, build the wall.

A federal judge ruled on Friday the US government can include citizenship question on the US Census. It makes complete sense so Democrats are against it. The decision also affects how much federal funding sanctuary communities will receive from American taxpayers. So, of course, Democrats are against this.
Outline reported: A federal judge ruled late Friday she is unconvinced of an immediate need to block a citizenship question from the 2020 census over privacy concerns. US District Judge Dabney Friedrich declined to issue a preliminary injunction requested by a privacy and civil liberties nonprofit group, the Electronic Privacy Information Center. The group argued that the US Census Bureau was required to complete a privacy impact assessment before Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross announced the addition of the question. In response, the government acknowledged it is required to update its privacy impact assessments, but must do so before collecting census responses, rather than before deciding what questions would appear. It would be nice if President Trump came out and announced today that if we go into another shutdown there will be no back pay for furloughed workers as the Dems refuse to negotiate in an honest manner.
If the Dems keep this up then it won’t be hard to pin the next shutdown on them.
And what does that get the President?
I think another shutdown would solve nothing.
Go around them. Build the wall. Or put out a series of Presidential proclamations that will drive the left crazy, like “if you’re born with a penis you’re a man” (that one really gets under their skin), or “airplanes are good.” Better yet, REALLY frost them and demand proof that Ruth Ginsburg is still alive and WILL be able to resume her job at some point. No one in the media seems interesting in asking that question (wonder why?).
It’s about both.
Blue states need bodies for the next census to replace all the cits who have bugged out. And the blues don’t care where they get them.

Yet *another* gang-of-X to screw over the Republic....what’s left of it.
I believe we are both aware it would never happen but the thought of the whiplash the Democrats would endure would be priceless.
