I’ve always wondered if the Democrat party had a plan to remove Trump, by legal action or assassination. The original coup didn’t work.

It is not over yet.
They are still working on the coup.....and if Mueller/Weissman (sp) have their way, they won’t be satisfied until President Trump is in solitary confinement in a federal prison.
It would be a reasonable assumption that many such plans were made. Most would have been idle ranting. Perhaps some were not. The key question is "have any assets been deployed in support of those plans"?.
The people who might know for sure will not be posting to this forum. But some of them may be reading it.
