Yeah -- you can't make this stuff up, and he got a total pass by the media.
The city here has implemented a new sewer surcharge tax based on the square footage of non permeable surfaces. Since we have a large building and huge parking lot, we just got tagged with an extra $2,500 sewer bill each yr.
Maybe without toilets we avoid RE taxes and sewer charges. Might be a little interesting though for our "barflies"
