WSJ’S KIMBERLEY STRASSEL CAN’T GET OVER GREEN NEW DEAL
The Wall Street Journal’s Kimberley Strassel was not impressed by the rollout of the proposed Green New Deal — in fact, she argued that “if a bunch of GOPers plotted to forge a fake Democratic bill showing how bonkers the party is, they could not have done a better job.”
As Democrats rolled out the resolution, the commentary and criticisms rolled out as well. Strassel was firmly and decidedly in the camp of the latter.
"By the end of the Green New Deal resolution (and accompanying fact sheet) I was laughing so hard I nearly cried. If a bunch of GOPers plotted to forge a fake Democratic bill showing how bonkers the party is, they could not have done a better job. It is beautiful."
Strassel followed her initial tweet with a series of key points to illustrate her initial assessment. The facilities, solar panels, and turbines required to deliver “renewable electricity” on the scale described in the GND would take up more space than the entire state of California.......500k square km. Also note, govt (taxpayers) will pay for these—not private sector.
No reason to not imagine that she has powerful backers.
I saw this. Tucker stayed on script rather than to take a detour and pin him down on how he knew that the GOP hacked the computer. The Cornell law professor would have collapsed like a false witness in a slander suit.
The fact remains that this childlike innocent was pouring mead and scrubbing toilets in a fag bar in New York 6 weeks ago and is now being paid 174 thousand dollars by you and me to sit in Chambers of Government is a testament to American Exceptionalism.
At 29 years old, she is going to be set up for the rest of her life. It is not out of the realm of possibility that she even becomes Chief Executive of the United States when eligible. And still - leftism screams how unfair and abusive our way of life is to all except the white (Caucasian) male.

Last week I heard people on the morning radio shows mocking this “Green New Deal” (these are NYC radio programs; the “AOC” area); they were reading excerpts about “cow farts” and such, and the leftist hosts were left unable to defend the goofy insanity.
Leftists operatives monitoring those shows must have quickly reached out and removed it; the hosts were literally laughing out loud over the idiocy in it - and more damaging, reading actual excerpts on the air for millions to hear.

Question: Is AOC's website so insecure that it could be hacked easily by the GOP, then so poorly monitored that it took a couple days to pull it down?
It wouldn't surprise me in the least to find out that Nancy Pelosi let AOC swing in the breeze for the last couple of weeks, made her dismissive statement about AOC's "Green Dream, or whatever," then had her people put up this over-the-top document to kill the "Green Dreamers", and AOC wing of young upstarts before they destroyed the Dem's credibility.
