Washington D.C., Feb 8, 2019 / 05:01 pm (CNA/EWTN News).- Two Democrats in the U.S. Congress this week reintroduced a bill that would permanently repeal the Mexico City Policy, a regulation that is seen as a barometer of U.S. presidents’ abortion politics. The Mexico City Policy, referred to as the “Global Gag Rule” by some critics, was originally instituted by president Ronald Reagan in 1984. It mandates that foreign non-governmental organizations may not receive federal funding if they perform or promote abortions as a method of family planning....(snip)

good question. Foreign countries have laws against abortion. The ngo goes in and promotes it. The ngo doesn’t get the blame, the US gets the blame as a meddler. Seems stupid to pay to set ourselves up.
Seems stupid for taxpayers to fund campaign costs for political issues in other countries (pro-abortion, pro-homosexuality).
I doubt we fund any $15/hour minimum wage laws in other countries.

As another poster described after NY’s infanticide-on-demand bill passed: We should adjust our tactics and cheer these policies that eliminate “populations that we don’t want to have too many of” (to quote Ginsburg). A couple of years ago it was announced that NYC had more black abortions than live births; if blacks want to blindly support those implementing this genocide, we can’t stop it. It struck me when those Covington kids were protesting against abortion that the “black Hebrews” were harassing those trying to stop the murder of those “black Hebrews” in the womb...
