They can put in a region of PA that DJT carried in ‘16. IIRC I-80 runs through PA and is smack dab in the middle of the most heavily populated,and most prosperous,part of the country.
Amazon should quit NYC and build their campus in Nashville instead.

Stay out of Virginia. It’s now so infested with RATs from other states. I’m afraid that all to soon enough it’ll be on the par with MD, CA, IL, NY, CT, etc.

It’s like Minnesota. There a ton of companies who have opened plants and headquarters across the border in South Dakota.
Yes, but Amazon has a deal to insulate themselves from the pain causing those companies to leave. I understand why Amazon took the deal; I also understand why it is bad for the average NYer. Some will get jobs; they and the rest will all get the infrastructure costs associated with this development (and no help with any of the other costs of running the city).
I find this similar to the scenarios playing out where some locations turn down professional sports teams; financially it just doesn’t make sense in many cases.

I really wish you were right, but never underestimate the spinelessness of an incumbent braindead RINO.
They were NEVER going to build in Nashville, Austin, or any other “God-forsaken hillbilly city.” They were always going to NYC and/or DC, because that is where THE MONEY AND INFLUENCE are at.
I hear Kansas City is great I bet it booms soon because the young people seem to like it.
If AOC wants to begin her congressional career by eliminating 25,000 high paying jobs in NYC … well, pass the popcorn.
The downside is you have
to look at her nipples.
What NYC needs is across-the-board spending and tax cuts, not special deals for megacorps. NYC is rejecting Amazon for the wrong reasons, but it is right to reject Amazon, if the special tax treatment is the only way to lure it there.
