Enrique Tarrio, who is the Chairman of the Proud Boys fraternal organization, had his personal Chase bank account shut down abruptly earlier this week.
In a letter obtained exclusively by Big League Politics, the bank informs him that he must shut down all of his accounts by April 1st, 2019, without giving a reason.
This comes just days after Chase Banks payment processor, Chase Paymentech, de-platformed him on a website he runs that allows groups and charities to sell merchandise, and raise money for causes. The website, 1776.shop, is most known for selling the famous Roger Stone Did Nothing Wrong shirts which Stone was spotted in during the late-night arrest at his home.
Tarrio has been facing months of backlash for his affiliation with the Proud Boys, first getting onto the radar in an article published on The Daily Beast, which asserts that people of color are joining white supremacist organizations. Tarrio is both Cuban, and black, and was profiled in that article.

Gotta crack down on non-PC people, doncha know.
This is oppression. Unbelievable! Absolutely cannot be allowed to happen in this so called free country.
If I was a leftist trouble maker trying to infiltrate conservatives and do what I can do to make them look bad, I would call my group “Proud Boys”
Just saying
It’s the gayest name ever. But they are not “Nazis” by any stretch of the imagination.
So you support him getting his personal bank account shut down because it’s good?
Just sayin.
If i was a leftist trouble maker trying to infiltrate conversvatives I’d make an account on free republic with some blatant name like Trump.Deplorable then tacitly support oppression.
Just sayin.
Chase would much prefer to do business with those who are planning the next version of the Final Solution. That’s how the Swiss banks made their fortunes and Chase wants to do the same thing. Forget the points, get a better bank and be done with these crooks.
Just saying it is an organization the left created so they can point to it as call it a ‘white supremacist” pro-Trump conservative hate group
Its obvious, and has been obvious for some time.
How far one would have to go before finding a suitable bank?
Which still deflects from the point that his personal bank account was shut down because he’s an active Trump supporter and you’re defending it.
Not far at all - I’ve already started the migration process.
There’s local credit unions (that will offer you far better rates, service and terms) as well as online banks that will cover your ATM fees.
I was very confused when I first started reading about them in the news.
I think the Federal Reserves regulatory staff needs to be contacted about this abuse.
This is political redlining.
Your head is up your butt.
You are completely wrong about your assertion.
Illegal immigrants get bank accounts.
Trump supporters do not.
I did not defend Chase, I just called out the group for what it is.
I don’t know why Chase closed his bank account, could be for many reasons including habitual bad check writing. large unexplained deposits/withdrawals, money laundering, bad debt, lawsuit/court order, suspected terrorism, who knows?
I doubt because he supports President Trump
And if I were a leftist plant I’d be defending Chase and claiming it could be for any other reason than the obvious one.
Just sayin.
“Its obvious, and has been obvious for some time.”
What,specifically,made it obvious?
.
Yup. This is where all this is headed.
Deplatform, dox, and ruin any Trump supporter. Deny service to any Trump supporter.
