If you don’t civilize a child before age 5-6, the mob takes over, at school & on the streets; the result is a subhuman, ignorant, heartless savage. Preschool & kindergarten only makes that window of civilization shorter.
I learned this a long time ago when I tried to catch and tame some farm cat kittens who had been born and weaned in secret by their momma cat out in the woods.
If they are not handled and domesticated by humans in the first month or so, they are wildcats, period. I tempted a few in with a box trap with warm milk as bait, and I had to handle them with welding gloves and leathers on. Pure wildcat, and there is no taming them, ever.
