Whitaker is so concerned yet he remains hands off Mueller. He's going to be Acting AG for only another week or so, until Barr is confirmed. What do you want him to do? Kill the Mueller probe altogether? Declassify the second Rosenstein Scope Memo? Open a probe into FISA court abuses by former FBI Director Comey?
