What is “DAFF”?
I have heard of daft, and deaf, and deft, but never ever have I seen the word “daff” until today, and I have now seen it twice.

It’s a word - from “daft”, per dictionary.
“Scot. to act the part of a fool; behave playfully. Origin of daff. from Middle English daffe, fool from dafte, daft. Archaic to turn or thrust aside.”
