RICHMOND, Va. - (AP) — Another top Virginia Democrat has admitted to wearing blackface decades ago. Attorney General Mark Herring issued a statement Wednesday saying he wore brown makeup and a wig in 1980 to look like a black rapper during a party as an undergraduate at the University of Virginia.

Many including Herring have urged Northam to resign after the discovery of a photo of someone in blackface on his 1984 medical school yearbook page. Fairfax, next in line to be governor, has been accused of sexual misconduct, which he denies.
Third in line, after the racist, baby killer Gov, and the rape racist Lt. Gov.
Next in line to take over is the House Speaker.
So, Herring said Fairfax HAD to resign because of wearing blackface, and then he admitted wearing blackface.
Without getting into the argument of whether blackface should force a person to resign, CALLING FOR THE RESIGNATION of a person for doing blackface, when you did it, is absolutely a reason to resign.

While not an every day occurrence, if anyone thinks this type of behavior was some sort of anomaly-even in the 80’s -they’d better think again
Not defending or making excuses (esp for Dems)-just saying what was.
IMHO the hypocrisy, not the blackface, is the real story.

That's a LIE! There were no black rappers in 1980. The only rapper in this era was Debra Harry.
