Thank goodness for NewsMax TV. Watched SOTU on there, sort of. More listened then watched, as I was working on a presentation I need to give in the morning.
The few times I turned to look, there was Fidgety Nancy behind the President, a chiron running along the bottom with news of the day, and nothing else. Even their pre-speech tongue waggers were fairly tame, regardless of position.
Didn’t bother with the Democratic rebuttal. The Hogan’s Heroes rerun on MeTV was far more entertaining! Same with the post-speech “here’s what we want you to think” analysis. Catching up on last week’s “Somebody’s Got to Do It”. Again, more entertaining.
