I'm hoping he's leaving posthaste because he's planning on throwing down the gauntlet by releasing the unredacted FISA applications and making a dramatic exit.

Walking out would divide Big Media’s attention, Rats could not do it without alerting them first.

Less is more. Exactly right. People expected Lincoln to give an hour-long speech at Gettysburg. They got a few sentences then he sat down, they were shocked.
“Eight-seven years ago.”
“Seriously Abe? No-one’s going to take you seriously with a speech under 200 words!”
“Four score and seven years ago.”
Say less, do more. Action speakes louder than words.
If you think about it the Democrats have in actuality given Trump a golden opportunity to make some well justified, bold political moves. He could go on the offensive on several fronts and put them on the defensive big time. Strike while the iron is hot. I believe most of the country would applaud his political courage to do the right things that need to be done.
