In other words:

Hillary has so much dirt on everyone, including myself, that the deep state would be nuts to think about pursuing these charges. It doesn’t matter what she did, it doesn’t matter that I called her “grossly negligent” in my initial report and then changed it to “careless”. There are just too many people that would get taken down if she were convicted.

Full stop. Period. End of story.

She wasn’t grossly negligent. She did it all knowingly and deliberately - with malice and forethought

I’ve always said the seminal Clinton scandal wasn’t Whitewater, Monicagate, the Travel Office debacle, or even the Clinton Foundation—it was the FBI background files that made their way to the White House early in Bubba’s first term, under the aegis of Craig Livingston (remember him?)

Raw, unverified material collected by the FBI during background investigations. Virtually all of the individuals whose files wound up in the Clinton’s hands were Republicans (what a surprise). Of course, the files were returned when the (ahem) “clerical error” was discovered. But not before the info made its way to Democrat investigators like Terry Lenzer and into multiple databases. And using that info as a starting point, there’s no telling what else they managed to dig up.

If you ever wondered why so many Republicans of a certain age refuse to go after the Clintons, the answer can probably be found in their background file.
