They're going for the gold.
Democrats have started dropping their marbles.
Now we have the Colorado Senate passing a bill to direct their Electoral College delegates to vote for the winner of the National popular vote in Presidential elections !!!!!
It's all part of the efforts called "National Popular Vote Interstate Compact" and it's blasting off like a rocket.
Probably unConstitutional but they'll do it anyway and wait for the SCOTUS to decide as they continue the anti-American onslaught of corrupt BS.
Democrats definitely have some screws coming loose as the mental cases mount up in popularity 🤣
Colorado Senate Passes Bill Nixing Electoral College in Favor of Popular Vote
The Democratic-majority Colorado state Senate passed a bill this week that would give the states electoral votes in presidential elections to the candidate who wins the popular vote instead of the Electoral College.
Colorados Senate passed the bill in a 19-16 vote Tuesday along party lines.
The bill would mandate that the states members of the Electoral College vote for the presidential candidate who wins the popular vote.
Can they do this?
The Colorado senate may as well hold their breath underwater for sixty ninety years, they cant change the American Constifution. Their ignorance is exceeded only by their arrogance
Smokin too much weed.
Fascinating.
I expect the “feudal” lib justices to have the most trouble with this as it dilutes minorites’ votes.
Just fascinating!
Why, certainly! Of course! Each of the Several States has the power to decide how its electoral votes should be determined. That's why, in some States (NE, ME), its electoral votes can be split.
Regards,
If Trump wins the popular vote in 2020, all the liberal States he lost who pass this thing will have to award him their Electoral College votes after all.
His 2020 win will be ‘Yuge !
MAGA ! Go Trump !
Under this scheme it’s possible for Colorado to award its electoral votes to a candidate who did not win a majority in their state.
1 million illegal voters in Californicate are cheering.
>>Under this scheme its possible for Colorado to award its electoral votes to a candidate who did not win a majority in their state.
Would a citizen of another state be able to force a statewide audit/recount in another state if his or her vote was invalidated by fraud?
I hope the dem wins Colorado and Trump wins the popular vote outright or in a 3 way race, and they lose the presidency because they’re that stupid
Being a not especially large state as far as population, this is really allowing the rest of the country to dictate whether voters in Colorado are disenfranchised or if their votes count. They’re awfully confident that Democrats will always win this fictional “popular vote” and there likely will come a day when they won’t. As bizarre as things have been since 2016 I suspect this will occur in short order, 2020.
They should just go ahead and pass a bill to award Colorado electoral votes to the Democratic party candidate for all future presidential elections, and save the expense and bother of actually holding a vote. Then they can all congratulate each other on their model ‘democracy’.
Who wins the popular vote nationally?
Using this ‘logic’....I wouldn’t even bother (either as a Republican or Democrat) spending a penny on advertising or campaigning in the state. Maybe it matters in the primary but as for the November election...no, it’s just a waste to show up or buy any TV ad time.
The bill only takes effect when states with a combined total of 270 EVs have passed it. Right now they’re at 172. Colorado would push it to 181.
Imagine if the popular vote was within 0.5%.
"We demand a recount!"
"In which states?"
"All of them!"
(2 months later)
"We're suing over the results!"
"In which states?"
"All of them!"
1 million?????????????\
Try 3.5 -5 million...... it’s at the center of why the formerly reliably conservative is now a 1 party Dem state. That and the regular Dem generated voter fraud.....
Sorry, one million illegal voters in Los Angeles alone.
“Smokin too much weed.”
Not enough. Toilet paper is still legal in Colorado.
