Slightly off topic....

I grew up a couple blocks from the beach in south Florida and spent a lot of time on boats.

My unsolicited advice....

If you dislike strong wind, and if you dislike relentless pounding in choppy water or rough surf, don’t spend your hard earned money on beach property or beautiful boats!

I discovered similar advice when I was breaking in some boat shoes. Basically stand in water and then let them dry to form to your feet. But to get the real boating experience, stand in a cold shower while you tear up $100 bills.
