A picture up on “avweb” shows an almost intact fuselage in a back yard.
This is from our neighborhood Facebook page:
“I saw the plane explode in the air. The engine caught on fire which caused the explosion. The right wing blew off and the plane nose dove towards the ground.”
Apparently he’s not the only one who saw this. The plane appears to have been headed northwest.
