Here is something for the Tesla owners to think about in the winter months:
- You start off with a full charge in the morning heading to work, but snow is expected for later in the day.
- After work your battery drain is way more than expected, but you have to get home.
- Then, there is a major traffic jam on the snow covered roads and you sit there watching your “remaining charge” meter drop below 10% and you still have a long way to go.

Your SCREWED.

Next thing you know, your on the side of the road in a snow storm with no power, freezing and waiting for AAA.

Then AAA arrives, changes out your battery for a new one, and you’re on your way home in ten minutes.

Oh, wait. You sit roadside for three hours waiting for enough battery charge to get you home in your EV. IF the AAA tow truck has a big enough charger. Or they tow your car.

Just imagine having to tow a car home because you ran out of “fuel.” How preposterous is that?

That is why the owner of an electric car would probably not take that car to work that day. They are probably well aware of its limitations and should be willing to live with them.
