I am happy to see him getting back to this issue.
We should only be in wars directly affecting our lands.
A Border War.
I can get behind a Border War.
At some point we will leave. This was always a binary choice. Stay forever or do the best we could and get out. We are the latter part of that equation. I was active duty during part of this. And while the loss of life for virtually no gain is abhorrent, staying and adding to the total is even worse. It’s time to go home. If they truly want freedom let them fight for it themselves.

One of the main reasons I voted for Mr. Trump. I do hope he stands firm against the horde of neo-cons screaming in his ear.
He’s been saying this for many months now and it’s not happening. I totally support the decision, but it appears it being sabotaged.

I voted for the guy that said he would get us out of the endless wars. Two years later he’s still saying it.
We were there protecting the CIA’s opium biz. Long past time we left.
