In fact you can see a surge in pro-American propaganda on Russian mainstream media recently. The main narratives are McCain gone, Hillary now irrelevant, ‘people there realize their government foreign politics are contrary to freedom’, ‘they aren’ t that different from us’. Government channels are running documentaries on American history, food, sightseeing. I am yet to figure out what is behind it.
