Indeed it is horrible for all concerned...including the witnesses. They will never unsee or unhear it. I understand that when the falling human body is accelerating toward terminal velocity of approximately 120 mph and impacts the ground it is akin to a gun going off.

They call it a “shutdown” for sympathy...as if they were laid off without pay. I call it a nice Christmas vacation.

Why did they cancel all those flights if the suicide was in an airport hotel? As someone who dealt with security issues for 25 years, I don’t understand it. If he committed suicide in the actual airport, or boarding area, that would have been another story.
I’m betting he’ll still be voting Democrat in the next Presidential election. An everlasting statement.
Some Buddhist monks in South Vietnam burned themselves alive in 1963 to protest the government of Diem. A young Czech did the same thing not long after the 1968 Russian invasion of Czechoslovakia.

I believe the hotel is IN the airport, and people ran, causing security breech - at least that was scuttlebutt in the long lines in St Louis ...
Frankly, I would need to know the man’s sex, race, religion (if any at all), and political positions - if they are not indeed defined by the classes above!
Once those are defined, then today’s race-sex-politics-religion prejudices of the socialist left clarify the problem.

I remember some idiot in the USA burning himself. When he lit up he realized fire is HOT and BURNS and went running and screaming! The fire was put out, then he tried to sue the cameramen for not talking him out of the stunt.
It says the hotel is on Level 4. I'm surprised that they actually have a hotel right in between the arrival gates. It's been years since I did any flying, and when I did, it was very limited.

In short. Somebody is putting these weak people (shooters) up to their dirty deeds “for the cause”. Wait until they start pulling these things “to save da planet”. I see that coming.
Oh, I get you. I understand running patsies. There’s a long history. Risky business. But with new ‘tech’ it’s increasingly attractive.
