At the SOTU address, Trump needs to really hammer away at his ultimate authority:
U.S. Constitution, Article 4 Section 4:
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion;
AND SHALL PROTECT EACH OF THEM AGAINST INVASION
Well-funded hostile globalist NGOs are financing the “caravan” invasion forces, busing and trucking them by the thousands from Central America to our border. There are already at least 22 million illegals in the USA. If this does not constitute an invasion, the word has no meaning.
Not to mention that history and current world events must warn us that if Mexico falls into anarchy or civil war on a Venezuelan level (and it could) that instead of thousands, MILLIONS could stampede for our still-open border. We need the wall/barrier. It’s a matter of national defense.
Yep. He needs to say that America is at a crossroads, and that if is to survive as a Constitutional Republic with limited government, with God-given liberties and freedoms, that it must do two things: people need to embrace God, and government needs to respects its boundaries while doing its job, which includes controlling entry of non-citizens. New peoples must only be admitted under law, and citizens MUST embrace the values of freedom, liberty and limited government. He could say that while we have big government in DC, we have none on the border, which is destroying America. For this reason, he is instructing the military to build barriers to stop human and narcotics traffic. He could say that he is asking for veterans who are willing and able to donate their time and talents as volunteers to assist in construction. Etc. He needs to make this a Lincoln-grade speech.
