Politics and the National Anthem Kneelers League.

Recently Brent Bozell posted an article saying the NFL has rebounded more recently after networks stopped showing the kneelers.

https://www.cnsnews.com/commentary/l-brent-bozell-iii/brent-bozell-nfl-recovers-kneeling-frenzy

>>The National Football League is back on top of the ratings heap after both conference championship games were so competitive they spilled into overtime. The panic in NFL offices has ended. The bleeding stopped. Everyone knows why, and it's not the powerful high-scoring offenses and the snazzy touchdown celebrations. The NFL put an end to the national anthem kneeling protests. The focus could then return to sports, not silent gestures meant to drive home the leftist argument that we should be deeply ashamed about how America is horribly racist and police officers are a pack of murderers. This controversy drove away viewers on both sides of the debate, the patriotic Americans and the "woke" community. A Media Research Center poll found that 74 percent of likely voters said they were "trying to get away from politics and do not want to be bombarded with partisan political messages" in their sports and entertainment shows.

What aren’t the players boycotting the Super Bowl?

How about the gay cheerleaders?

Maybe Kaepernick can tryout for spot on the Rams cheer squad. Problem solved.

:o/

Vic Oyedeji of North Carolina launched the petition, calling a boycott “the only way to affect the bottom line.”

What is a Yoruba man(from Nigeria) doing telling us who should or shouldn't play in the Superbowl?

Rap royalty Jay-Z, a vocal Kaepernick backer, turned down top Super Bowl billing last year, which he referenced in his 2018 hit “APES**T.”

“Royalty” my ass. He is a street thug from New York

“I said no to the Superbowl/You need me, I don't need you,”

Um..no. The Superbowl may need Tom Brady. They sure as heck don't need Jay Z. Nobody watches football because of this fool. Ratings will be huge as usual this year, in part because of Brady and The Patriots.

Can the crappy entertainment, who needs it. Fans want to watch football. Fifteen minute half time to take care of business and back to the game.

No Superbowl for us. Our local company, TDS, is a fight with Nexstar over cable retransmission fees. We have been without over-the-air Fox and CBS since January 1. There are over 170 TDS cable outlets nationwide that have lost service due to the dispute, not all of which are CBS outlets. To view the game, you have to download mobile NFL/CBS apps, watch at a friend’s house with Dish or Direct TV, or at a local bar with satellite service. I may go down the street to a nearby Wild Wings after half time to watch the second half and enjoy a beer.

The current iteration of professional sports is not going to survive the tidal wave of demands for ‘racial justice”.

Since the 1960s, courtside seats in the NBA and crazy fan behavior at NFL venues has been a way for the white stockbrokers and surgeons to act out being down with the struggle.

Once the players make it clear that the people who pay the bills are their enemies, and once cable systems no longer send hundreds of billions to ESPN from households that don’t watch sports, what we have now is not going to work any more.

“Jay-Z....”I said no to the Superbowl/You need me, I don’t need you,”
Why he thinks the Super Bowl needs him?
When I turn on the game, it’s because I want to watch the game. During half time I’m usually doing something else.

Why not The B-52’s. They’re a Georgia band with LGBTXYZ members (the ones who haven’t died from AIDS that is) and I’m sure they’d be up for poking Trump in the eye.

Here’s an idea. Boot the band, send the players home and shut down the stadium. Now, is everyone happy?

"...until the league changes their policy and supports players' constitutional right to protest, no artists should agree to work with the NFL."

Hey, moron, there is no Constitutional right to protest in a private setting.
