Bush revealed his stupidity by expecting a gaggle of moslem factions to somehow adopt and maintain a Jeffersonian democractic republic. It worked for a couple years while we were there as a powerful occupying force.

As soon as that ended, it all went to shit. Iran poured into the vacuum. Followed by ISIS. Blame Obama for pulling out, but what were we going to do, stay there forever?
