The SOTU is and has been for years, a nasty and undignified political circus. I have long believed we need to go back to sending the message in writing. Trump should have taken the wicked witch and one upped her by just announcing no more speeches to Congress, period.

President Trump has set in motion the desire to make corrections in a badly damaged nation.

We have been our own worst enemies and the existence of FreeRepublic is the evidence for how long good men and women have been trying to stop the assault and repair the best system humanly possible with the help of God.

Two years of almost complete success in keeping promises and making very positive headway in making America great again (I don't care WHO'S phrase it originally was), hyas proven to more people than all the of conservative media.

This will not be "just" a SOTU address/speech.

Every leader around the planet will be tuned in to it and for US, American citizens, to treat lightly the importance of what President Trump has to say is, IMO, traitorous.

That would be a huge negative for democrats, and the American people would see them for what they really are. Democrats think they have the upper hand in this issue, but, they are in for a big surprise in the next round of elections, which are not really that far off.

Republicans would be wise to record those illegal attendees along with their democrats sponsors, and then create the most lethal campaign ads against democrats in the 2020 elections.
