In November, Nevada filed a request in a Reno federal court for an injunction to block a shipment of plutonium from South Carolina to the Nevada National Security Site, which is often referred to by its former name, the Nevada Test Site.

Wow, the timing. They get to virtual signal without risk of actually impeding the delivery. Wonder if that was intent?

National security means nothing to the left. They want to bring it all down using the false canard of transparency. First, such a shipment should be of the highest secrecy, and second, if the trailer carrying it got into an accident on the highway or something, it's in a virtually indestructible container with numerous safeguards and specialists on hand, and would be cleaned up faster than any member of the silver state legislature could eat a booger.

If the nuclear site is already there it means Nevada already agreed to have the storage center there and happily took the federal dollars to do so. If it’s federal appropriated land - well it’s federal appropriated land and the state of Nevada has no peg to stand on unless they want to expand state sovereignty - which I’m all for but Dems typically aren’t.
