“Not that anyone had any insider knowledge. “
try Harry Reid and John Podesta and their Clean Energy Project (now defunct)
PG&E were warned by peoplze in the community that the electrical lines were sparking and faulty PG&E did nothing to repair the lines and faulty lines started the fire!!
There was a story the other day about a small town that went totally renewable, planning on selling excess energy back to the grid. Then fracking came along and made their higher priced electricity unattractive. Now their electric supplier is dunning the locals for lost revenue, in the millions. I laughed until I cried.
When the host dies, the parasites die
Not true for zombies.
There was a pod of clinton cronies that became Cali energy trader/advisors...
Still sucking blood from taxpayers somewhere.
No way these contracts will be voided. A close look would reveal many California politicians and prominent democrats involved in these businesses.
1. Check your math
2. $100 per month is too low
PG&E going under is a yuge domino to drop.
Ripple affect will be far and wide.
Nope, you’re incorrect. The average residential electricity bill in Califoria is around $100. Try google.
So the executives didn’t do anything... typical... I stand corrected....
This is renewable. More expensive!
And
Check your math.
There is sparking all the time on lines. Environmental conditions, loads,....can impact that. What do you expect with 500,000,000 or 230,000,000 watts (500/230MW) Just because there are sparks does not mean the line is faulty. They all relay telemetry to control stations in real time. Systems make adjustments in milliseconds. Drought and poor land management are the major causes.
And they are going after PG&E because the have deep pockets. But remember, everything gets passed on to the rate payer. EVERYTHING!
I have this to say about that:
Ahem. Hemmmmm..... *spray spray* tap tap tap. Is this thing on?........
NO FEDERAL BAILOUT.
Thankyouverymuch.
If you want to believe that renewable energy contracts are actually worth 42 billion dollars to the power company be my guest! I was merely trying to illustrate how much power that would buy at the consumer level. Maybe it’s closer to the cumulative power bills for 37,000,000 average homes in California for a year. Whatever the exact dollar amount is, solar and wind aint gonna get you there.
Renewable energy is more expensive you say. Well that’s the whole point of what we are talking about isn’t it? It’s a total scam.
Good!
Now we have a solid reference for the failure of the concept of “renewable energy”.
Nope. They are going to blame the bankruptcy on the fire.
Sounds a little strange. The wires are up in the air, combustibles are down on the ground unless PG&E lets the trees grow into their lines. Is there any documentation?
I personally believe they should go after the state due to VERY POOR forest management not only very poor but NO forest management the environmentalists run CA.
But they’re dropping renewables because they’re a loser.
