Well, you need to take into account industry. Many of which eat up energy.
If a tank truck dumps a thousand gallons of gasoline on the pavement and I drive over it and toss out a cigarette and millions of dollars’ damage done, is it my fault?
If California has millions of acres of unmanaged tenderbox forests and an unintentional flame creates a hugely damaging fire, is it the fault of the producer of that flame?
When the host dies, the parasites die.

The host was, in effect, subsidizing the green engergy industry with a whopping $42 billion worth of contracts with about 350 different energy suppliers. The contractual morass of managing that many contracts is hard to comprehend. There is no way PG&E was properly overseeing all those agreements.
Evidently many of those companies sales depended entirely on PG&E, their only customer. Not exactly a sound foundation for a company’s existence.
We’ll know Cali is serious when they outlaw heated pools and air conditioning.

How many of those 350 companies are shell corporations setup by the same underlying scam artists to bilk the utility company for green energy contracts; the modern equivalent to indulgences.
+1
Exactly right. Nothing but political shenanigans. One thing that works well in California is political corruption.
You’re not from California, are you? $100/month sounds high? That would be a sizable reduction for most people. We have some of the highest electric rates in the country.
Bingo! Give the man a cigar!!
-—sadly—Califnevazuela—just around the corner-——
—and I see that “affordable housing” is one of newly-wed Steve’s first projects-—wonder if he ever heard of Pruitt-Igoe?
An excellent question. You can bet there were a lot of questionable arrangements among those 350 contracts.
No what’s high is the claimed 40 billion in power generated by green energy!
Hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. This is to the LIB lunatics who are such greenie/warmist fools.
What about “barriers “ around swimming pools?
And any way to trace the political donations those 350 companies gave out over the years. Such a scam. Same thing with public teachers unions.
I’m trying to figure out how PG&E is responsible for Wildfires??? Stupid morons...
Here is where is goes.
Apollo, god of the sun.
Then it goes to the demonRAT politicians and their friends that run the companies that are as mythical as apollo. Remember Solyndra?
If you know politics in CA, you’ll know that the state will NEVER let these contracts to just go away, regardless of what the (federal) Bankruptcy Judge does.
If the judge dissolves the contracts, the state will take them over and add the costs as yet another tax on their electricity bills.
That simple.
Cause the government says they are. I’m guessing the insurance companies had something to do with that law getting passed.
Lol. What a scam.
