I work in Georgetown but live outside the city so the price hike does not affect me. Georgetown and Williamson County used to be very conservative but as is often the case population growth brings in more liberal stupidity, some from Austin some from California.

Georgetown is the seat of Williamson County- a county that has had a long history of conservatism braced up against the lefty loons of Travis County (Austin).

Enter the flood of lefty tech migrants from Silicon Valley. They can’t afford to live in San Francisco on the Colorado, so they set up home in Williamson county and bring their diseased politics with them.
