We were able to find these in Texas years ago. The walk home from grade school passed an old store, a candy store.
There we stood making a decision as to which our few cents might purchase. Red wax lips, wax Coke bottles filled with liquid? The straws filled with “KoolAid powder”? and (of course) the Neccos. Many times the decision was simple. We purchased a Sugar Daddy instead.
