Even better if they teach KJV, which is written beautifully, and actually could be justified as literature in that format.

When schools disallow religious texts like the Koran and the Bible into the school, a secular religion is essentially established in the vacuum, McWilliams explained Monday.
That’s assuming the kid’s parents are totally secular, in which case it isn’t the school’s job to rectify that.

Equally as important as teaching the classes will be the teacher. The wrong teacher could have exactly the opposite effect that we would be hoping for.

Shouldn’t that be done at home?
Schools shouldn’t pick up the slack for what should be done in the home.

We were fortunate to have a missionary come into our little Tennessee elementary school once a week to teach the Bible
She encouraged us to memorize 1 Corinthians 13.....the love chapter..
....If I speak in the tongues of men and angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal
We loved this quiet, soft spoken lady

And someone needs to have a session or two on what separation of church and state meant back when it was talked about and what it has come to mean today because of ignorance and hatred towards God.
Here is an excellent article that speaks the truth about what separation of church and state meant originally and what it has been twisted to mean today:

It's a good thing.
However, I must say, Trump himself needs a Biblical literacy class. And I'll say that, even though I voted for and support the President. I mean, "One Corinthians?"

HOWEVER, they need to be sure the Bible being used has not been sodomized by liberals such that the message has been altered, PC has not been introduced, etc.

It has been the error of the schools to teach astronomy, and all the other sciences and subjects of natural philosophy, as accomplishments only; whereas they should be taught theologically, or with reference to the Being who is the author of them: for all the principles of science are of Divine origin. Man cannot make, or invent, or contrive principles. He can only discover them; and he ought to look through the discovery to the Author.
