The Left is a collection of violently opposing factions being held together by one thing - the promise of achieving a socialist state with their own faction at that time able to gain more power and influence than they have today. It's easy to see them degenerating into a massive internal power struggle - the trick is to get them to do it NOW (the year 1995 would have been better) before they gain any more political offices.
And that will require no more than publicly naming the things their factions really believe in - something the GOPe has proven astonishingly inept at doing. One believes many of "our" representatives have been bribed or threatened into silence.
Trump needs help - he has been doing this, but as one man he is easy to isolate. It was a great moment when Lindsay Graham went after the Democrats over their treatment of Kavanaugh - the entire Left/MSM establishment was literally rocked backwards for a moment to hear that kind of talk coming out of the mouth of a a Senator they thought was "safe." Multiply that type of action by a thousand and we will be on the right track.
Some of that is already happening; the Women's March fiasco, for one thing. Will it open some soccer moms' eyes? Probably not on its own, but more is coming.

Why can’t the Reps have monthly or even biweekly meetings where a “speech coordinator” or “message coordinator” comes in and delivers to them such “talking points” (not quite the right term, but close)
The fact is that the GOP members have to get the phrases into their vocabulary. And practice speaking them. I am so reminded of the Benghazi hearings where luminaries like Darrell Issa would ask question that immediately provide a way for the deponents to say “well, maybe it could be this, but it could also be that” at which juncture, whatever point the questioner was trying to make dissipates into smoke. At every stage GOP members simply fail to deliver Schlichter-grade turns of phrase. Hell, they could hire Kurt to come in @ $5K a session and increase their re-election numbers by 5-10%, which is all it takes. You’d think some genius at the RNC could come up with such an idea.
