And, yes, I know that there were circumstances such as Flake and a smaller majority. How long will Lindsay and Mitch allow those to sit around pending confirmation because of INACTION?
But there are 166 vacant and soon to be vacant judgeships but only 53 nominees. Where are the nominees for the other 113 judgeships. We should NOT SETTLE FOR MEDIOCRE PERFORMANCE in getting these slots filled. Let’s not “brag” about what we have accomplished; let’s be motivated by how much we have NOT accomplished.
