Doesn’t McConnell give his caucus talking points when the appear on these shows? Doesn’t he make it clear what will happen if they stray from the talking points?
Nope. McConnell is only Majority Leader because he is weak. He allows the mavericks to roam and they vote for him to be leader.
It doesn’t mean I don’t want border security. I do. I think that’s the wrong way to achieve it. It doesn’t provide certainty. You could wind up in a theatric victory at the front and not get it done. The best way to do it is to have a law that funds border security so we know it’s going to happen.
