I thought the width correction meant 60% OF THE ORIGINAL SIZE. Instead it’s 60% of the page?

Yes, the percentage is applied to whatever the page size is. That’s why width=?% is such a cool modifier to the img tag. If you use it you’re assured your image will look correct no matter the screen resolution.

Note that aspect ratio is managed automatically.
