Whats my point? Society has got so that there arent comedians any longer. No showmen/women or people who know how to handle being famous.
Society is collapsing and the entertainment industry isnt entertainment any longer.
Yes, a lovely man and actually funny without swimming in the sewer and dragging his audience with him.
His movie “The Yellow Cab Man” is playing on TCM right now - ‘bout half way through......
1st thought was that showing spurred this post
"Who are you?"
"Me? I'm Red."
"Oh. Red Skeleton."
Thank you for that.
I could imagine our president getting up in front of congress to give his state of the union address, and repeat this very thing in total. Then walk out not saying another word.
There would be a jaw dropping sound hear all over the country if not the world.
Funny how things work out. I dont get TMC and had no idea it was on.
I meant TCM...
Your welcome, and wouldn’t that be a grand moment, LOL I wonder if AOC would know what he is talking about?
I met him in 1981. A really nice man. He entertained several of the waitresses in the coffee shop I worked at, giving them little sketches of clowns on paper napkins.
For a second, I got him confused with Red Buttons:
“.....Never Got a Dinner!”

Was he famous?
He can take the butt end of a pistol better than most.
Also, Jack Benny.
Here. Take a few minutes and come back and tell me if there is any comedian in the world that can do this.
