Leaving aside the personality of Mr Boot for a moment, anyone who cant even handle pelousy while shes painted herself into a seriously bad corner politically, as she did with her partial shutdown, that persons ability to negotiate well with others is indeed called into question. No way around it, sorry
the story is not over yet.
It does look bad.
As for everyone who says, “Trust the Plan,” I have to ask, someone planned that?
Yeah, easy for us as “keyboard warriors” to say that, and having 99% of your political party stabbing you in the back doesn’t help either. If the shutdown continued through this week the Senate on the Repuke side would be caving in with McConnell’s help, and making deals with Schumer and the RATS. It would of been more than the purported six Repukes who were begging for a deal to be made.
President Trump is also negotiating with the GOPe, from almost as far to the right (comparatively) as with the dems. The Rs were ready to openly oppose the President. He is trying to use the legitimate tools of governance so the achievement is harder to undo, unlike Obama’s EOs and executive actions.
Are you against constitutional governance, or are you soding with the libs (dems and GOPe)?
