Either Congress approves it with funding in three weeks there will be another shutdown. And Trump can still call the emergency trigger which will immediately be challenged in the Courts.

Shutting the government down indefinitely, even just a few areas of it won't work forever. I don't understand why he didn't get something, even a few hundred million dollars. That omission is a big fail.
Yes, closing the border would be challenged in court. I'm sure there are other steps possible. Consider 'interior enforcement'. An untapped area. More check points, etc.
Why not push e-Verify? Remove access to jobs.
Trump now has three weeks to revisit his whole reform plan. Wasn't it about 152 points? Lay this out, work on it.

I like the optimism but there is no reason to negoiate, The President has shown he’s willing to give them what they want. Trump broke his own rules, again.

I appreciate they want to see through what’s happening on the other side, this can be done with cameras or other means.
Being seen doesn’t do much to stop the flow of people. They are willing to be arrested knowing they will be release. Drug traffickers seeing ICE will simply move along until they know they aren’t seen. Change the dynamic - let them know they don’t know what’s waiting for them on this side.

I think it may have been the fact that the Coast Guard was not getting paid that was the deciding factor in this decision. President Trump fully supports our military.

President Trump is doing everything humanly possible to legally get our Wall! The Democrats care Nothing about law and order or honesty! No President before Trump, other than George Washington, has sacrificed as much for this country.. No President has received such disrespect and hate for his noble, selfless efforts to restore this Constitutional Republic! We are living in the ‘Make it or Break it’ period. Its up to us.. Donald J Trump has consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty. All he asks is our support. If he does not have it why should he even bother anymore.
