Envy gets you nowhere with God (and envy was the serpent’s song and dance in the Garden). Thankfulness gets you far.

It boils down to private property rights. The word for someone that doesn’t respect private property rights is a thief. Theft is immoral, always has been, always will be. Socialism is the denial of private property rights at the state level, therefore it’s theft and is immoral.
